Each Great Clips store has the opportunity to award at least 1 scholarship

How Does this Work?
Have you thought about a career as a Hair Stylist? Maybe it’s time to start that career you’ve always dreamed of with a little financial help from Great Clips! Great Clips is donating $200,000 in Scholarships to help you start a Great career in 2016! Please stop by your local Great Clips and ask their stylist to nominate you for the scholarship to attend the beauty school. They have partnered with Evergreen Beauty Colleges to allow their scholarship recipients to attend either in Everett or Renton Campuses.
When do I start?
If you are selected to be sponsored by your local Great Clips store, you will then need to meet with an Admissions Counselor at one of Evergreen Beauty College’s locations. From there you must start in one of Evergreen’s 2016 classes in January, February or March. This scholarship is only for the Cosmetology program.
Why is Great Clips Doing this?
The beauty industry is in an interesting place where the public is asking for more stores to provide services, but one of the reasons franchise owners cannot open fast enough is because they do not have enough supply of good service providers to supply the stores.
Here are a few reason the local Great Clips Franchise have chosen to do this:
- Produce more stylist to choose from
- Employee Motivation: Allow their stylist to contribute by inspiring and supporting others to enter into the field. They are part of the nominating process.
- Give back to the industry and local community
- Be a part of building and developing the beauty industry
